That oughta be enough bad food to satiate me for the next year, right? ;-) Of course it hasn't helped me the other 364 nights of last year....hmmm.....

Well, I meant to write about my new job sooner, but here goes. It's boring. I do the same stuff I did during the school year (where I could barely stand 10 hours a week) but I get paid more and I work 40 hours a week. That's about it. Oh, and I get my own cubicle. Yay.

Also, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone in the armed forces, the policemen, firefighters, and any other emergency workers. <lj:music>Eminem - Lose Yourself</lj:music>

On my last day of freedom from the "real world", things got a little hectic. I went to the World Basketball Championships, where Germany easily beat New Zealand for the bronze medal and Yugoslavia came back to beat Argentina for the gold. The gold medal game was probably the greatest game I've ever seen, and it had me sprouting gray hairs after every lead change. Not only that, but the Colts barely beat Jacksonville today, so that didn't help. But then I heard the bombshell: rumors that the Colts might be moving to Los Angeles. [sob] I simply can't bear to lose my football team!

I'll try to write about my first day at work tomorrow. Coo?

    <lj:music>Good ol' Indiana crickets chirping</lj:music>

Well, believe it or not, I just arrived in Indianapolis today after driving from Tampa the past 2 days. Now that's not really a big deal, I know, but I guess it is for me. I just never thought I'd be able to do something like that. Granted, having to shove Jazz off of my lap all the time and constantly wiping cat hair off my face probably kept my mind off things, but oh well. :-P Oh, and staying at a hotel in Nashville, TN last night was interesting...my neighbors in the room next door begged for me to buy 5 of their CD's for $10 "so they could get something to eat" since their "house was partially burnt down by their neighbors". They also remarked how nice of a car I have, so I (stupidly) bought the CD's to shut them up and promptly went to my room to lock, dead-bolt, and chain the door. Then I kept an eye on my car all night. ;-) Ahh, memories.

Sorry I haven't written in so long. Time flies when you're doing nothing. I guess the most important thing to mention is that my intramural basketball team is now 1-1 after suffering a heart-wrenching one-point loss on Tuesday. Argh. Oh well, we can make up for it next game. Also, I barely got an A on my math test, and I got a B on my Spanish test, and I failed my Human Sexuality test (heh...guess I need more practice), and I think I pretty much aced my Art Appreciation test. Now it's time to worry about jobs, and I still don't have any more plant trips lined up. I guess I won't get super-worried until after Spring Break. Other than that, nothing's new! :-P
